September 2024 SunFun
So only 1 video here, because I made over 40 videos this month, at World Renewal and Living Stones.
Praise and Prayers
I posted so late for August, but it seems like September was forever, so that tracks! The weekends were full, the weather was great until it got too hot and then too windy (remnants from the hurricane down south). We celebrated my parent’s 43rd anniversary, went camping with friends (as seen in the epic rock skipping contest in the one of the videos), Caid played an epic set at the Bates-Hendrick’s Street Fest (third year in a row—all of those videos were uploaded to his music channel Caid Ferguson). We got to see Stephanie Soares, who plays on the Dallas Wings (WNBA)! It was too hot to do our masterpiece in a day this year, but we did still go to Art Squared in Fountain Square and enjoy ourselves. We had friends over and went to friend’s homes, Sofia learned how to ride her bike and become quite the bike enthusiast, leading to a revival of family bike rides! And just this last weekend, I got to be a part of and share at our church’s ladies retreat, which was very special and full of deep heart to heart sharing.
Things are going well at work: the soccer games are coming to an end soon for Caid, and my big event is October 23rd (You are Invited!). This labor day we had our first home owner labor day, powerwashing the house and deck and sanding/sealing the deck. It looks amazing, but now I have this whole list of things we need to get done to winterize our home. Then I went online and found out you can fall garden!!! So I planted a bunch of spinach instead of doing the whole list of winterize things. I guess we will do those in October! The girls are enjoying dance class after school on Wednesdays, and Sofia has been invited to join the student counsel, so I think new school stuff is slowly working its magic.
