November 2024 Sun Fun
Praise and Prayers
Now it is getting cold, but we still had some nice enough days to winterize the house: painting, spray-foaming any holes, and feeling really satisfied with how easy it was to insulate the doors. I bought a three dollar cover for my hose, and now feel like I’ve achieved another level of adultness. November 9th was our 11th wedding anniversary, and my mom has been so kind with babysitting for regular dates, and when visiting my friend, she made it special for us too. The girls and I finally finished reading Harry Potter book 2 together and so got to have another watch party- we are almost done listening to all of the Narnia radio Theater series, and I might cry when that is done!
It was a perfect Thanksgiving holiday, where I didn’t have too much work, but got to plan some fun things, like our first family trip to Jungle Jims. Caid and I have really enjoyed Arcane season 2 (and season 1), and wasn’t “Wicked” lovely? It is all the rush to do Christmas well, and I already have most of the presents ready and Christmas cards printed-that is rare! It was such a joy to have the first snow in our new home, and to plan and execute Christmas decorating.
