Sunday Funday June
Summer fun is happening!
Praises and Prayer
Praises for all the endings: June began with Sofia’s graduation, and we are so grateful to her teacher and all of the people who made her first semester at school 31 so lovely. She’s learning how to read very well, and enjoys math a lot. Caid finished his first year teaching science—during a pandemic as well!
Prayers for all the beginnings: Caid began his post-grad program for getting his teaching licence at IUPUI.
Praises for all the great adventures: we got to travel to Connecticut and had lovely places to stop at, as well as a wonderful place to stay. So grateful for family and friends like family!
Praises for a 6 year old: I hadn’t realized it was Sofia’s first birthday in the USA—every other birthday she was in Brazil. We got to celebrate with Connecticut family and Indiana family!
Prayers for transition: I didn’t really realize what a big transition it would be having half our family not at school all day. It is our first family summer transition in the USA, and has gone well overall, but the devil in the details.
