Sunday Funday March
To help the girls with Portuguese (and anyone else), I made a compilation of some songs that are in English and Portuguese-switching back and forth. The volume and timing don’t always work great, but it is a good start! I don’t own any of the music myself, and don’t plan (or want) to make money off of the videos- but it is a good tool!
Prayers and Praises
I’ve (Rachel) been recouperating from surgery (April 4th I am able to lift heavy things and go to the gym again!), and am so grateful that I’m healing well and haven’t had any complications. Just a slow month asking people to help me, which is not my favorite thing to do.
March feels like an in-between month for a lot of things. I’ve done a lot of work on the Mission Moment’s for Kids, as well as my own book, but haven’t finished. The grass and flowers are growing, but it’s cold, so most of the grand reveals will be in April.
March has lots to celebrate, with John’s birthday the end of February, Caid’s birthday in the middle of March, and Rowan’s birthday a week after. We loved getting to go to Rowan’s orchestra concert, and Sofia’s second school (St.Patrick’s day) dance. Caid had a Karaoke party, that was super fun.
Unfortunately, Spring break just couldn’t get organized—Caid had the second week of March off of his grad program, the third week off of teaching, and Sofia has the last week of the month off. So it’s been a month of semi-celebrating: which matches the weather pretty much. We’ve had some amazing days of spring beauty…and a lot of grumpy chilly rain. It’s been a good month, and we are grateful!
