Prayers and Praises

All of those jokes about January being 97 days long…whew. Caid has been cranking out the music, which has been really beautiful. We decided that as a family we would really work on speaking/learning Portuguese in the house, so the girls have been faithful duolingo students, putting labels around the house, and I got out the flashcards. We’ve all loved the snow and slower days, as our home is so cozy. Tea, books, and soup have been fun additions—and discovering our love of pho. We enjoyed a trip to the Children’s Museum for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and I loved getting to share (round 2) with the ladies at church about centering God as our identity. Unfortunately, the last week of January hit me (and so many others) with a cold that knocked me out, but now I’m recovering.
